Join USGBC staff for a discussion of the next iteration of the LEED green building certification system, for new construction and existing buildings, LEED v5. USGBC intends to drive the built environment toward a low carbon future that is equitable and resilient and promotes the wise, safe utilization of all resources. In this interactive session, the U.S. Green Building Council and LEED Steering Committee leadership take attendees on a guided tour of the new structure of the rating system. Additionally, this session will provide an in-depth understanding of the integrated approach to addressing the key issues of scale, decarbonization, health and wellbeing, resilience, equity, and biodiversity and other goals that are driving the development of LEED v5.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer insights as they learn more about USGBC’s work to create an end-to-end ecosystem for green buildings to meet goals for design and operations including enhanced analytics and reporting for areas of focus such as ESG, building performance standards.

USGBC will be pursuing GBCI continuing education credit for this event. You will be able to self-report 1 GBCI CEU.
